From Norman Cohn, Chairman of ASI:
Today I’m excited to share some news with you.
Matthew Cohn is being named vice chairman of the ASI Family of Companies (including responsibility for ASI, The ASI Show and ASI Computer Systems Inc.) and Tim Andrews is being named president of The ASI Show and vice chairman of ASI Computer Systems. Matthew helped us launch the first Show in 1998 and he has been responsible for the strategic direction and vision for the tradeshow business since. His contributions, enthusiasm and innovative ideas have improved the quality of tradeshows for distributors and suppliers throughout the advertising specialty industry. I am very proud of his achievements and dedication to The ASI Show and to the industry. Matthew’s passion, business skills and ability to develop the big picture makes him a natural fit as a strategist to help take the ASI Family of Companies to the next level. Tim and Matthew have worked closely together to solidify and create the highest value membership, best attended tradeshows and valuable tools to help ASI members succeed.
It is only fitting that Tim adds the roles of president of The ASI Show and vice chairman of ASI Computer Systems, Inc. to his position as president and chief executive officer of ASI, particularly as he leads the efforts to provide opportunities for our members to be more successful everyday. Matthew Cohn Named Vice Chairman of the ASI Family of Companies
TREVOSE, PA – January 22, 2008 – Matthew Cohn has been named vice chairman of the ASI Family of Companies – including responsibility for ASI, The ASI Show and ASI Computer Systems, Inc.
Matthew Cohn was previously the president of The ASI Show, and his promotion to vice chairman of the ASI Family of Companies confirms the Cohn Family’s continued commitment to serving the advertising specialty industry. He will be focused on growing the ASI brand in North America and elsewhere and will be identifying new business opportunities for ASI and The Cohn Family of Companies.
In addition to the promotion for Matthew Cohn, Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI, is being named to additional posts as president of The ASI Show and vice chairman of ASI Computer Systems, Inc.
Matthew is very involved in the business community and has served as president, education chair and treasurer of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization and is on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization). Philadelphia Business Journal recognized him in their “40 Under 40,” and he was named among the “Top 100 People to Watch” by Business Philadelphia, as well as one of the “100 Most Influential People” in the trade show industry by Tradeshow Week. Additionally, Matthew is Chair of the Audit Committee of The Bancorp Bank (Nasdaq:TBBK) and sits on the boards of CADE, a Philadelphia non-profit helping children make smart decisions and SISO, the Society of Independent Show Organizers.
Under Matthew’s leadership, The ASI Show has grown to five national shows (Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas, New York City and Chicago), and more than 70 Advantages Roadshows and three Stitches Roadshows. As the industry’s #1 tradeshow, The ASI Show brings together more distributors and suppliers than any other industry events, with more than 30,000 distributors attending an ASI Show or traveling show in 2007. The ASI Show has won a number of awards, including Tradeshow Week 200, a list of the largest shows in the United States, the Tradeshow Week Fastest 50, which recognizes tradeshows with the most impressive growth over a three-year period, and has ranked at 153rd on the prestigious Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. “I am pleased to make this announcement,” said Norman Cohn, chairman of ASI “Matthew helped to launch the first ASI Show in 1998 and he has been responsible for the strategic direction and vision for the tradeshow business.
His contributions, enthusiasm and innovative ideas have improved the quality of tradeshows for distributors and suppliers throughout the advertising specialty industry and I’m very proud of his achievements.” Cohn added, “The Cohn Family is very excited to be continuing the next generation into the leadership of the business as we continue to be dedicated to supporting the growth and development of the industry.”
“I’m thrilled to accept this new challenge,” said Matthew Cohn. “ASI, The ASI Show and ASI Computer Systems, Inc. have achieved great success over the last few years, with record membership, top show attendance and innovative computer technology. I look forward to playing an integral role in the future growth and development of these companies’ activities and services. “As Andrews assumes his new roles, The ASI Show, ASI and ASI Computer Systems, Inc. will continue to operate as separate companies, while looking for ways to bring the businesses closer together to improve our services and overall member experience. “Matthew and I have worked together closely for five years on The ASI Shows since I joined ASI,” said Andrews. “Matthew’s dedication, business savvy and energy have driven impressive growth for the tradeshows and many ASI members tell me that they have been pleased with the quality of distributors attending and suppliers exhibiting. I look forward to finding more ways to exceed their expectations.”

About The ASI Show and Advantages Roadshow
The ASI Show was created for active ASI member distributors and suppliers and attracts more distributors than any other industry shows – with more than 30,000 attendees. Offering a full education conference, networking opportunities and a manageable one floor/one hall layout, The ASI Show provides a complete tradeshow experience. In five host cities per year (Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas, New York and Chicago), The ASI Show has experienced steadily growing attendance since its inception in 1998, and is ideal for promotional product businesses searching for new ideas, new business relationships and more. In January 2006, The ASI Show launched the Advantages Roadshow, ASI’s only official traveling show, visiting over 70 top cities throughout the country. The Advantages Roadshow brings top industry suppliers together with quality distributors and salespeople who traditionally do not attend other larger industry shows.
