{"id":1197,"date":"2011-08-29T11:43:55","date_gmt":"2011-08-29T15:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/?p=1197"},"modified":"2011-08-29T11:43:55","modified_gmt":"2011-08-29T15:43:55","slug":"hurricane-recovery-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/2011\/08\/29\/hurricane-recovery-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Hurricane Recovery Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I hope all of you, and your family and friends, are safe and secure as we recover from this weekend\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/news\/nation\/story\/2011-08-29\/Irene-less-than-expected-but-still-a-bruiser-for-many\/50174782\/1\" target=\"_blank\">hurricane<\/a> on the East Coast.<\/p>\n<p>Like all of us at ASI (which was in Irene\u2019s path), I know many distributors and suppliers are dealing with various stages of recovery \u2013 assessing water damage, trees down, travel issues and client and shipment concerns.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.asicentral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"right\" src=\"http:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/irene.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please let us know if there\u2019s anything we can do to assist, or if some special accommodation is needed. We\u2019ll do anything we can to help.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll post hurricane-related updates at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asicentral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.asicentral.com\/<\/a>. If you have a business update for us to post about your situation, please email details\u00a0to feedback@asicentral.com.<\/p>\n<p>Our information products and services, including ESP and LogoMall, have been up during the entire storm, with our backup generators being used during one relatively brief period. We have fully backed up technology and power in our main offices, as well as at an offsite location near Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p>In coming days and weeks, please let us know if any ASI materials (end-buyer catalogs, references, etc.) have been damaged at your homes or offices. We\u2019ll replace them at no charge ASAP.<\/p>\n<p>Please also let us know if there\u2019s anything we can do to help you or another colleague. My personal e-mail is tim.andrews@asicentral.com.<\/p>\n<p>I weathered the storm at my house in N.J. and came through relatively unscathed with a power outage and flooded basement. Luckily, I had a generator from an ice storm two years ago and a friend who came to help out \u2013 who then got stranded when the water rose.
