{"id":243,"date":"2010-04-13T16:18:27","date_gmt":"2010-04-13T20:18:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/2010\/04\/13\/the-start-of-something-good-esp-searches-up-up-up\/"},"modified":"2010-04-13T16:18:27","modified_gmt":"2010-04-13T20:18:27","slug":"the-start-of-something-good-esp-searches-up-up-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/2010\/04\/13\/the-start-of-something-good-esp-searches-up-up-up\/","title":{"rendered":"The Start of Something Good:  ESP Searches Up, Up, Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s something in the air besides spring. \u00a0Call me an optimist, but I&#8217;m seeing the start of an industry turnaround.\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.asishow.com\/10NewYork\/index.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/money.jpg\" class=\"right\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Instead of tulips, I&#8217;m counting the number of searches in ESP. \u00a0And what I&#8217;m finding is giving me a real stirring of hope. \u00a0From March 2009 to March 2010, the number of searches in the ASI product database increased nearly 9%. \u00a0And from February 2010 to March 2010, that number jumped almost 21%.<\/p>\n<p>What that tells me is more people are searching for more products. \u00a0More sales can&#8217;t be far behind.<\/p>\n<p>The most cautious of distributors tell me that while business remained relatively flat this first quarter, they no longer feel like they&#8217;re peering into the abyss.\u00a0 In addition to more confidence in the future, they&#8217;re reporting an uptick in inquiries and prospects.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While no one&#8217;s uncorking the champagne quite yet, some businesses are reporting an increase in orders dating back six months, thanks in part to aggressive marketing efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Here at ASI, we&#8217;re counting down the days until <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.asishow.com\/10NewYork\/index.html\">ASI New York<\/a>, May 4-6, the industry&#8217;s first and only major trade show in the Big Apple <em>and<\/em> the number one choice for a Northeast event in numerous member surveys.
