Make Dollars Count"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the past few months, we&#8217;ve been reviewing our operations at\u00a0ASI Show to determine\u00a0what we need to do for you and for the industry in the face of an uncertain 2009.\u00a0 Now, more than ever, it will be important to make every marketing dollar we spend, and that we ask you to spend,\u00a0count.<br \/>\n<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.asishow.com\/Orlando\/index.html\" title=\"More About ASI Show Orlando\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/ASI_Show_Orlando_Logo_Intranet.jpg\" class=\"right\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nInstead of\u00a0accepting that 2009 will be a down year and there&#8217;s nothing we can do about it, we&#8217;ve decided to invest more to make sure we attract distributors &#8212; ones you want &#8212; to each of the five ASI Shows and that they&#8217;re fully engaged with you during the entire show, 24&#215;7.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning with Orlando, the first show of the year and the largest on the East Coast, here&#8217;s what we&#8217;ve done:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Growing attendance.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0ASI Orlando\u00a0and ASI Dallas pre-registration\u00a0are\u00a0both up about 10% from this time last year and continue to build.\u00a0 While lots can happen in two months, we&#8217;re confident our marketing is providing compelling reasons to attend.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve scheduled Tony Robbins as our keynote in Orlando, simplified rules around some of our\u00a0distributor incentive programs, added valued-priced hotels and announced an Orlando\u00a0fashion show\u00a0to hold attendees until the end of\u00a0the first exhibition day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Attracting the right distributors.<\/strong>\u00a0 Rather than just quantity, we&#8217;re using our internal information on distributor quality &#8212; creditworthiness from ASI CreditConnect and salesperson affiliations &#8212; to make sure we&#8217;re focusing on the right people and that they&#8217;re choosing ASI Orlando\u00a0and ASI Dallas over early 2009 alternatives.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve added staff at ASI to work with national distributor networks, as well as smaller, faster-growing distributors, to host national and regional sales meetings at ASI Shows.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve already confirmed 40 meetings for 2009 shows &#8211; 14 in Orlando alone, and in Dallas one distributor is bringing\u00a0more than 300 salespeople.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Delivering exclusive distributors.<\/strong>\u00a0 Our research shows that, based on our incentive and marketing programs, we expect that more than 90% of ASI Show attendees in 2009 won&#8217;t participate in any other industry event (including PPAI Expo) and more salespeople from Top 40 companies will attend our shows than any other collection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New information on the distributors you meet.\u00a0 <\/strong>In addition to the typical contact information on distributors you scan\u00a0in your booth, we&#8217;re adding additional information, including the\u00a0ASI CreditConnect risk level (to help you assess creditworthiness), job function and title,\u00a0and how long the attendee&#8217;s firm\u00a0has been an ASI member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>More ways for you to interact with distributors.<\/strong>\u00a0 We&#8217;re putting in place &#8220;24&#215;7 Networking&#8221; &#8212; coming up with ways you can get to know distributors and introduce them to your products and unique\u00a0capabilities during the shows, and also outside normal show hours.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll hear more about this as each show draws near, but here&#8217;s an example:\u00a0 Suppliers who exhibit at all five ASI Shows will now receive complimentary tickets to the gala event at every show, giving you several more hours to socialize and get to know your customers and prospects &#8212;
