{"id":947,"date":"2011-04-20T17:09:33","date_gmt":"2011-04-20T21:09:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/?p=947"},"modified":"2011-04-21T09:57:11","modified_gmt":"2011-04-21T13:57:11","slug":"log-on-and-learn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/2011\/04\/20\/log-on-and-learn\/","title":{"rendered":"Log On and Learn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The phrase of the day at our most recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asicentral.com\/vts\">Virtual Trade Show<\/a> was \u201csocial media.\u201d Everyone wants to know how to better promote their business using online hawkers like Facebook, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/Tim_Andrews_ASI\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/timothymandrews\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/timasitv\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, everyone\u2019s questions were answered at ASI\u2019s social media class during the show, which in itself attracted more than a thousand visitors.<a href=\"http:\/\/vshow.on24.com\/vshow\/asi6\/registration\/1259#\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"right\" src=\"http:\/\/timandrewsblog-asicentral.com\/timblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/VTS.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All told, there were an average 524 visitors per booth, and visitors stayed an average 63.5 minutes, conducting 723 one-to-one chats and viewing 1,025 documents and 562 webcasts.<\/p>\n<p>One participant told us she was thrilled to attend in her PJs and slippers, which is the real beauty of virtual shows. No matter where you are \u2013 or how you\u2019re dressed \u2013 you can log on and learn, network and sell.<\/p>\n<p>If you missed this week\u2019s virtual event, you can access it now\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.asicentral.com\/vts\" target=\"_blank\">on-demand<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 another great perk.<\/p>\n<p>And stay tuned for our next show, scheduled for June 14.
